@comex A few months ago when I had to setup Comcast service I was able to get the “Unlimited Data Option” added to my account using my modem. I had to call them on the phone, and the fee was $30 ($5 more than their modem with unlimited).

@Xfinity do you know how frustrating it is to have the service I pay for go out multiple times a night every single night? And when I try to contact an agent or cancel my services you mysteriously have no agents available. Worst company/service ever!

@metrotimes idk if anyone is reporting this yet but some Detroit neighborhoods have had regular @xfinity outages of 4-18 hours 1 or 2x/week for six weeks. "Node issues" is the reason given but still not resolved. Credits given if you know to ask but otherwise they just keep $$$

@joshtpm The company that sprang to my mind is Xfinity. Everyone hated Comcast, so they just rebranded and hoped that nobody noticed that their service was still bad and overpriced.

@brooklynmarie IMHO, this move will be a massive fail for FB. Wonder who will buy up the pieces of the company left in 18 months or so. Tencent? Ali group? Byte Dance? Alphabet? Comcast? Verizon? Sky? Virgin Group? Amazon? All of the above?

2 weeks ago I call xfinity and the service agent asks for permission to “look deeper into my usage”. I consent. Next? I’m scolded, “Covid is very serious.” Followed by a personal sob story and “it’s important you get vaxxed.” Kicker? Happened again tonight with a diff agent.

@BasherBrown Including the name of his son Dale Earnhardt Jr. So if you see any of Dale Jr's stuff and it doesn't have the name Earnhardt on it that is why. Which really sucks when you have an Xfinity team and you can't use your last name.

@8NEWS Just tell Comcast and Verizon to provide the service for free. Ask ConEd to provide free electricity. Don’t discriminate. Free for homeowners. They would go out of business. Would you like to live without electricity? You’d pray for global warming.

@Melinda62909033 We've had business class accounts at our homes since...jebus...2003? Centurylink has by far been the most receptive, most responsive, and most willing to preserve my configs if there are issues.Comcast trashed my network many times before we swapped.Monopolies gonna monopoly.

@TFS_Pun @GovernorVA Let's just hope what happened in PA happens there, where our governor paid billions to Comcast for broadband to many locations only to have them do 30% of the work then walk away never finishing and that was to be done awhile back.
