Queensland education authorities made changes in the school data reporting in 2020 – no further release of year 12 results of Queensland schools. The change to the new ATAR system has also changed the way schools access data. Schools are only able to access student ATAR data from QTAC if the student consents to this. Generally speaking, in best performing schools, a majority of the ATAR eligible students agree to share their data. Therefore for the Queensland ATAR results from 2020, our aim is not to provide a school ranking league table with all schools. Rather we just want to provide a list of top 60+ schools, ie. top schools ranking.
If you believe your school should be on this list, please share your school's results link URL with Better Education or complete ATAR / IBD RESULTS SUBMISSION FORM. Parents can also contact schools for the information as you are entitled to do so.
Here are the best high schools or top secondary schools in Brisbane / Queensland by ATAR / IBD (ATAR or equivalent from IB or combined) results / rankings in 2023. The academic results include combined median ATAR of all QCE ATAR and IBD students, percentage of the students who achieved ATAR of 99+, 95+, 90+ or 80+ (or equivalent from IBD or combined) and disclosed their results over ATAR / IBD eligible students. The schools or rankings can besorted by each performance indicator separately. Data source: Better Education proprietory. Custom data or algorithm may be included.
